  • Just quickly wanted to say that last month we lost a wonderful man -Cyrus Walts- who lived in Hinesville for about 30 years with his wonderful wife Jennifer Clark Walts and their son "Rusty" married to Meagen Dillion Walts, who also live in Hinesville. It was their choice to select The Thomas Carter Funeral Home and they could not have done a better job. “Tommy” was both a true Gentleman and a Down Home Southern Good Ole Boy whichever the situation called for at the time. The home is beautiful, for both his immediate Hinesville family and for us, his two sisters who appreciated the historical charm being from the north. The charm did not end with the home however, he was cordial, sensitive, pleasant, and more than accommodating going out of his way on more than one occasion acting as if we were personal friends though he had never met any of us previously. Enough cannot be said about how impressively he handled the entire affair, from “underselling” us items for the burial to personally standing outside for three hours to make sure guest cold find their way in the dark while it was freezing cold. At a time of need it would be difficult to imagine any home doing a better job.
